Guadalupe is the premier place to dive with Great White Sharks
Isla Guadalupe is one of the best places in the world to see Great White sharks because of the number of sharks that show up every season, and the amazing clear blue water. The visibility is unmatched by any other White Shark diving location. The island is fairly easy to reach, due to the organized charters. Because you are in a cage, on surface supplied air, you do not have to be scuba certified. You also don't have to worry about getting close to sharks. They will get close to you. As long as you keep your hands and feet inside the ride at all times, you have nothing to worry about.
Horizon Charters has been going out to Guadalupe for more than 17 years. They have it dialed. They know the animals and care about their wellbeing. Read about their history here
Trips are safe, well organized and participants can decide how much time they want to spend in the water. If you can handle being on a boat for a few days, if you don’t mind squeezing into a thick wetsuit and breathing from a regulator, you can take part in this encounter.
Make an awesome adventure even more amazing by joining our expert guided expeditions.
Each trip has a theme, a mission and an outcome. Together we learn, experience and share to create a deeper understanding of sharks.
We will be developing many more specialty trips in the coming months. Stay tuned for announcements!
